Privacy Policy

Squackbox is a newsletter creation tool that helps creators turn their existing content into newsletters. We are operated by Podlogix and reachable at hello@squackbox.com.

We collect information you give us directly:

• Your name and email address when you create an account
• Content you connect or upload (YouTube, podcasts, articles, social posts)
• Newsletter drafts and issues you create in the app
• Subscriber email addresses you import or collect through your forms
• Billing information, processed by our payment provider (we never store card numbers)

We also collect limited usage data automatically:

• Pages visited and features used within the app
• Browser type, device, and IP address
• Error logs for debugging

• To provide and improve the Squackbox service
• To generate AI-assisted newsletter content from your connected sources
• To send transactional emails (login links, receipts, account notices)
• To display your subscriber list and campaign analytics to you
• To diagnose errors and improve reliability

We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Squackbox uses Anthropic's Claude to analyze your content and draft newsletter blocks. Content you connect is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's data use policy applies to that processing. We do not use your content to train any model.

We use the following sub-processors:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• Anthropic — AI content analysis and generation
• Resend — transactional email delivery

When you import subscriber emails into Squackbox, you are the data controller for those email addresses. You are responsible for having the right to email those people. We process subscriber data only to provide the service to you.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your data from our systems within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer where required by law.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email us at hello@squackbox.com and we will respond within 30 days.

We use session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Squackbox after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
