Squackbox

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Acceptance

By creating a Squackbox account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Squackbox. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Podlogix, the company operating Squackbox.

The service

Squackbox is a newsletter creation tool that analyzes your content, generates draft newsletter issues, and helps you manage your subscriber list. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to use Squackbox
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • One person or legal entity per account — sharing accounts is not permitted

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Squackbox to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited emails to people who have not opted in
  • Distribute illegal, harmful, or deceptive content
  • Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
  • Impersonate another person or organisation

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

Your content

You own all content you create or connect. By using Squackbox, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service to you — for example, sending it to our AI provider for analysis, or storing it in your library.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you connect or upload.

Your subscribers

You are solely responsible for your subscriber list. You represent that everyone on your list has given lawful consent to receive email from you. You indemnify Squackbox against any claims arising from your email sending practices.

AI-generated content

Squackbox uses AI to draft newsletter content from your sources. AI output is a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving everything before sending. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your audience.

Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are not provided for partial periods, except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or events outside our control may cause downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squackbox's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, even if we were advised of their possibility.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. We will make your data available for export for 30 days after cancellation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Squackbox after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Podlogix is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
